This site is dedicated to the few crazies who have embraced the full-time RV lifestyle, or simply want to get a laugh at the idiots like us who have. The RVonTheRoadYet website was getting kind of bloated. So I decided to start over from scratch. Okay, the site database crashing MIGHT have influenced that decision a little. We will show you some of the highlights of the last four years and a few of our adventures. The original purpose of this site we to keep Melinda’s 65 best friends updated on our whereabouts and shenanigans. (It’s hard to believe we have been on the road for four years, but it’s still fun!) The hard part is finding NEW adventures. It took over 3 years to do a relatively complete lap of the country and as of September, we started Lap Two. We are going to some of the places we really enjoyed and to a few new ones. We’re going to summarize some of our hijinks over the last 4 years. We couldn’t put them all or the tons of photos we have for each, but we wanted to give you a bit of perspective.
If you are considering doing the RV thing, especially if you are going full-time RV, maybe you can read this, get a giggle or two, and maybe even learn from our mistakes. And boy! have there been some mistakes!
Online Suggestion of the Day: Allstays.com – download the phone app to let you filter and search for overnight places to stay such as Wal-Mart or Cracker Barrel. It can also help you find low bridges, gas stations, and numerous other helpful ideas for easier full-time RV living.
We hope you enjoy the ride.
RVonTheRoadYet.com is a blog to keep our friends and family informed of our latest adventures or misadventures. We are NOT RV professionals, doctors, lawyers, or travel guides. We are a couple of people who have decided to embrace the full-time RV lifestyle of idiots and gypsies.
