If you didn’t know, or haven’t guessed it already, our travels lead us around the West from one Rodeo to the next. THIS is not an accident. It seems the Princess has a thing for rodeos. (I think it’s the cowboys, but, or should I say “butts”?) We did the rodeo in Callahan, FL; Yuma, AZ; Panguitch Utah; have summer passes to the Cody Nite Rodeo (30 nites of cowboys); after Glacier National Park and Deadwood, SD, we head to Casper for…you guessed it, the rodeo. Then we spend a week in Cheyenne for Frontier Days, one of the biggest rodeos in the country. I’m not saying she’s spoiled…no wait. I am.

We’ve seen the Seniors Rodeo (50-80 yrs old – one guy had 1 arm!), the Fifth and Under (fifth grade and below), 12 and under (12 yrs old and under), the National Final Rodeo Championships in Las Vegas, NV; the PBR, and even the bullfighter championships (we used to call them rodeo clowns, but that is not politically correct anymore). Gizmo’s even been to the rodeo but he likes to bark at the big dogs the cowboys ride. And what exactly  is the point of wearing a protective helmet to protect your brain if the best idea your brain can come up with is to voluntarily get strapped on to a 2000 lb., horned, hairy, death beast? Somebody’s hat is a little too tight if you ask me.
