Melinda’s sister, Martha, came to visit us last week. The girls spent a day or two exploring St. George Utah and Zion National Park and then rambled back to the home base in Panguitch, Utah. For those of you who don’t know, if you go about 20 miles past the middle of Nowhere, get lost, and take a left at the tree, you just missed Panguitch. It’s a town of about 1700 people and 1800 pick-up trucks. It’s sole redeeming factor is it is within driving distance of about 5 national parks. (It is also the home of the Quilt Walk, a historic something-something I didn’t pay attention to, after the word “quilt”.) It does have a decent indoor arena for an occasional rodeo, but we missed it this year. We did see one in Bryce Canyon City (and I use the word “city” loosely), near Ruby’s Inn and Bryce Canyon.
Seester in Utah!
