Williamsburg, Virginia
One of our adventures on Saturday in Virginia was to take in Colonial Williamsburg. I now know where all the bricks that were ever made ended up. We walked around and checked out life in the 18th century. I bought Melinda a pair of glass butterfly earrings that she really wanted. We watched the fife and drum parade. (Calling it a parade was a stretch.) All in all it was fun, but I know the colonials didn’t die from excitement.
Outlet Mall
We coddiewhompled to the Premium Outlet Mall and wandered a bit. Melinda bought some shirts from Talbot’s and some designer soap. The best part was ending up at Ben & Jerry’s.
Our most memorable times in Virginia was sitting by the campfire and watching some movies on the outside TV. (Melinda now knows that “Violent Night” is not a holly, jolly Christmas movie.)
