The third part of our Page, Arizona adventure (after the Glen Canyon Dam/Lake Powell & The Horseshoe Bend River Raft) was touring the Secret Antelope Slot Canyon with Horseshoe Bend Tours. I have to tell you, this was GREAT! We were the last tour of the day and only had 6 people (including ourselves) so it was like a private tour. The guide was an authentic Navajo young lady and beside info about the slot canyon and Overlook told us a lot about growing up as an indigenous American.
Gerry-Ann drove us out 8 miles on a dirt road that barely earned the name in an open-air truck that was specially designed for tourism. It was alike a side-by-sde ride along with the tour.
In some spots, the canyon was only a couple of feet wide and some, quite dark, but it was all amazing. I heavily recommend this.
