Okay, I have MAY have drunk the Apple Kool-Aid. I don’t (or want to) remember how we existed BEFORE Apple products came into our lives. Most of the apps listed have Apple Watch apps, but I only marked them if I use them. Here’s a sample of my day (every day)…
FITNESS:
- iPhone – Wake-Up Alarm
- iPhone – Unique Health app – smart scale to measure weight, BMI, body fat, muscle, etc.
- iPad – Watch Prime or YouTube videos while on the treadmill at gym
- iPhone – Pedometer++ app to auto-count steps while I am on the treadmill
- iPhone – Apple health/Pedometer automatically enter steps into LoseIt!
- iPhone/Apple Watch – Motra (formerly Training) app to auto-count resistance training reps, progressive overload, lifting templates, etc. automatically puts calories burned into LoseIt! app (more on this app in a future article)
- iPhone/Apple Watch – Music app Listen to uptempo playlists while lifting
- iPhone – Planet Fitness app membership login
- iPhone – LoseIt! app to track calories/macros for all meals, enter calories burned on treadmill – photo food or scan package for auto-data
- iPhone – Waze app/Apple Maps to get directions to and from whatever gym I’m going to this week. If I use Apple Maps or Google Maps, the directions appear on my Apple Watch and tap my wrist one way for right turns and another way for left turns
- iPhone – ChatGPT I use it to do intensely crazy calorie burn calculations based on age, weight, lifestyle, (and sometimes inseam), per minute, then I just enter the number of minutes in LoseIt! and it tells me how many calories I burned/li>
