Melinda and I flew from Harlingen. TX to Las Vegas to see the National Finals Rodeo and as always, it was really something. Our seats were so high, planes from Harry Reid Airport actually flew below us. The events and competitors were phenomenal. We watched our favorite, Stetson Wright, do the last bull ride of the night and smash the score. Great way to end an evening. We had taken the free shuttle from the Lingq to Thomas Mack Convention Center and back. I got off at Horseshoe to go play some cards at Bellagio and Melinda walked down to Harrah’s.

We would like to say we had a very profitable gambling adventure. It wouldn’t be true, but we WOULD like to say it. I played poker at South Point, Bellagio, and The Venetian. We met our friends John & Bridget, saw Foxworthy and Henry Cho perform at Plant Hollywood, and went to see the Wizard of Oz at The Sphere. All in all, a pretty whirlwind set of adventures. Came home and the dog was ecstatic to see Melinda after 5 days at puppy camp and I had my bike in the shop for new shocks and various items. And whoever says, “whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” did not bring back my head and chest cold!
