Ferry ride from Charlotte, Vermont to Essex, NY
We’ve spent the last two weeks in Vermont and before that, 3 weeks in Maine and it hasn’t rained EVERYDAY, but not for lack of trying. Especially in Vermont. The reason it is so green up here…it never stops raining! Well… that’s not EXACTLY true. We did find a couple of days to get out and adventure.
- We rode into Burlington and walked the Church Street Marketplace.
- We took the Charlotte ferry into Essex, NY and then down to the Star Trek museum/tour.
- Ben & Jerry factory tour
- The Vermont Cheese Festival was sold out!

RV PARK: Lone Pine RV Park
THOUSAND TRAILS: Y $0/back-in w/overflow storage by pickleball courts
ADVENTURES: Burlington, Ticonderoga (Star Trek tour), Ben & Jerry’s
CITY: Colchester, VT
RETURN: not so much, green, grassy, campfires, great cycle roads, Lake Champlain
NOTE: Replaced RV Can-AM brake master cylinder (under warranty) @ Land Air
